Better Experience With A Multidiscipline

It’s nice to meet you. My name is Zaina (Zay-neh).

I have a deep passion for the connections between humans, technology, and design systems, especially in how these elements come together to create meaningful, user-centered experiences.

I value inclusivity, satisfaction, and efficiency, and I strive to bring those values into every project I work on, making the digital world more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Currently, I am attending the College of Literature, Science, and Arts (LSA), at the University of Michigan.

I am pursuing a Cognitive Science major, on the Computation and Cognition track. This track combines standard early computer science courses with higher-level subjects like machine learning and artificial intelligence.

In addition, I am dual-minoring in UX Design and Writing.

I am expected to graduate in Fall of 2026.

Outside of design, I’m a curious learner with a broad interest in creative work, including writing and digital art. These hobbies inspire my creativity and problem-solving approach, allowing me to think beyond conventional boundaries.

You may also find me occasionally trying out new flow art techniques, drafting up a new sewing project, working on a Roblox game map… or just sleeping next to my cat.
